Dear Family: What was meant for HARM God has changed for good. He has    assured security for us and restored what was stolen with a double portion. Many people visited and prayed for us, one friend blessed us with her TV and a DVD player and another a used laptop, and one family sent us their guard Dog. We were able to get new phones, laptops, shoes  etc. Moreover, our friendships have grown stronger with the people around us. We know, that many are praying for us! Thank you for everyone who has stood with us! We are back to normal with God’s healing!

Children’s ministry: We have extended our territory by adding a new location. One of our friends has opened a door in his company for the children’s ministry.  The kids will spread the news and will bring many other children. It’s a remote area, 10 kilometers away from the town. We introduced new puppet costumes that our friends donated for the ministry. We have named it ‘Jacob Sunday school’. Last week 78 children came. The other locations are going on as normal.
Youth Ministry: It is a place for growing and strengthening one another. Last time, we had a special meeting with females and made them realize how special they are. We spent hours, playing games and sharing and interacting.  A special women’s team was able to minister to them. Provisions were distributed, as there is a great need during this drought season.

Church fellowship: It is going well, we are a small group of people coming together and worshipping God. A school has opened a door for us to run a church service there on Saturdays as well.

Bible distribution: We bless people with Bibles after we have shared the good news with them. We ask them to read these Bibles, and to hear from God as well.
Women’s and widow’s ministry with A YWAM team from the USA: We arranged a special women’s meeting in a rural village, spent quality with them teaching hygiene, about God’s love and laughing together. We shared provisions to help sustain them through the drought. We were able to visit women in need and help them out and share with them about God.  As God is the defender of widows and orphans- we also visited them, prayed for them and are now helping them to manage their own lives by starting small businesses - Injera machine, vegetable shop, building a kitchen etc!

Thank God!
International Women’s Bible study: This has been on our hearts for a few years now, and God has made it possible in His time. We are working together with ICF and it is a great blessing. We started very simple, but now we number 10 women from 7 nations. We have named it “The Women at the well” – where we will come to know God and make Him known!!!  We are learning new things and are putting them into practice.
Water project: We were able to build a water junction in a village where the need for water was desperate. The whole village came together for the dedication. We thanked God and rejoiced over his provision for water. We have many other plans to reach the villagers by starting a children’s ministry, tuition center, and a church. May the Lord give us success and help us to find a rental house to start these new programs.

Employees: God has opened the door to reach the employees in a friend’s company. We are teaching them about God and his nature. And so we could go boldly to Him knowing who he is. Please pray that they will be touched as they do not know Jesus as their personal savior!

School ministry: we volunteer in a nearby school with teaching English, facilitate things like black board, abacus, and maintenance. We talk to them about God!
Prayer needs:
our friend, bought us a small sound system 30W which we used it for almost 3 years but sadly it’s damaged.
*We really are in need of a good sound system.
*Need a vehicle for our family and ministry
*Ethiopian Easter celebration with all the kids
